Meet the Farmer Florist: Sharing her passion with others, one flower at a time.

Rachel Baran is the owner and sole farmer and florist of Sun Dragon Flower Farm, located just outside of Asheville, in Waynesville, North Carolina. The farm started off in 2018 as a hobby farm on a tenth of an acre. In February 2020, Rachel bought four acres of land and moved all operations to the new site.

The farm quickly evolved into a professional company that offers a number of elite services:

Sun Dragon Flower Farm has endless potential to be a positive tool for the community. Our goal is to continue to offer our high quality flowers and services. Our vision is to expand and offer new services and create accessible resources to better connect with, and strengthen the community.  Rachel loves using the farm as a tool to connect people to local farm-grown blooms, and to this special place that’s tucked away in the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
